ma’amtagila Territory

Our Traditional Territory lies between Vancouver Island & the BC Mainland Coast, in the Johnstone Strait. It includes reserve land that was set aside for us by the Government of Canada in 1879 and confirmed in 1914.
Our land is part of the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw Territories.
